How to display the sum of your categories in the aggregate rating

Testimonials are essentially 5-star reviews. The Review Markup add-on for Strong Testimonials will help search engines identify your testimonials as reviews in search results.

To configure the Review Markup follow the steps in here.

To display the sum of your categories in the aggregate rating you need to follow some simple steps:

  • Go to your WordPress dashboard > Testimonials > Categories > create a parent category.

  • Create your categories and assign to them that parent category.

  • Go to your WP dashboard > Testimonials > All Testimonials > click on the ‘Quick Edit’ button under a testimonial > Testimonial Categories > choose the category you need and also the parent category > Update.

  • After you assigned all of the testimonials to categories go to your dashboard > Testimonials > Views > Edit your View >  Queries > Categories > select the parent category.

  • Copy the shortcode of your view > go to your dashboard > Pages > Add new or edit a page that you have > paste the shortcode of your view.
  • You can also use this shortcode on your page: [testimonial_aggregate_rating category="parent"]

This way you should have all the categories included in the parent category in your aggregate rating.

In order to validate the review markup please follow the steps in here.
